Rain, Rain, Come Anyway!

So that isn't exactly how the little nursery rhyme goes, but we are in South Texas, and we need the rain! Bad.

We have had quite a few downpours in the last few days. And although I am NOT complaining, it is pretty tricky trying to figure out a smooth way to get Layla, myself, and her Day Care items out of the school and into the car. Without getting soaked!

So, pondering that thought...I found these adorable products!

These Giesswein Toddler Oberau Rain Boots would do the trick. Because Layla could actually walk to the car, instead of me trying to juggle her and everything else under the umbrella.

And I would even consider paying the almost $50 price tag, since they are one of the few rain boots I have found that can tighten at the top of the boot! What a bright idea?!?! The dry stays in and the wet stays out! (Aren't they adorable?!?!)

There is a slew of really cute umbrellas to choose from, but they aren't very practical for a 2 year old. It is hard enough trying to get my umbrella in the car, let alone hers too.
