Happy Leap Day 2012

May you leap to your hearts content.  Today.  And always...

All growth is a leap in the dark, a spontaneous unpremeditated act without benefit of experience.

~ Henry Miller

I advise you to say your dream is possible and then overcome all inconveniences, ignore all the hassles and take a running leap through the hoop, even if it is in flames.

le Oscars

Yes, I know I am late.  Yes, I know the Oscars were on Sunday.  Yes, I know today is Tuesday.  And yes, here are my favorite fashions.

My numero uno choice, Miss Emma Watson.  She looks stunning.

Ms. Viola Davis killed it in this number.  And rocking the al naturale hair.  Tres loves.

I don't think Michelle Williams has looked better.  Smashing!

Why hello Ms. Octavia Spencer!?! go along with that outstanding award.  Congrats, you deserved it.

Milla!!!  Ms. Jovoich, this is what defines a killer look.  But, smile, would ya?

And kudos to Mrs. Guiliana Rancic for highlighting what was just taken away from her.  What a gorgeous lady, and what a statement!?

Um, Miss Kate Mara....I love your dress.  But please learn how to pose.  Everyone will thank you.

{is this dress falling off or does her pose just make it seem that way?  ponder.}

And hooray!!!!  I did not like Tina Fey's dress at the Globes, but she looks 100% more confident here.  Loves.  Because she should be confident in what she wears.

Miss Keibler.  Oh Stacy, Stacy, Stacy!!!!  You are one lucky lady...either way - George Clooney went hope with a Golden Statue.  ha.

{can't decide if I love or hate this!?!}

I adore the sophisticated tuxedo-like gowns on these two lovely ladies!  Va-va-vooom!!!!!

Mrs. Glenn Close, you are looking mighty fine.  Werk it!!!

And Ms. Louise Roe...just because I didn't know who you were....doesn't mean I don't now!  Very well played...

Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only. Fashion is in the sky, in the street, fashion has to do with ideas, the way we live, what is happening.

Feb Photos Continued....

Where I left off...

Day 15 - phone

This series is pretty intriguing.  Hard to follow at times, but very interesting....

Day 16 - something new

A new Barbie!!!!  Among many other things from our sweet Summer and Kelcee.  Tons of clothes and a really cute fairy costume.  Layla was in heaven.  Thank you ladies.  You rock!

Day 17 - time

{Time Flies and I did not get a picture on this day.  So this will do.}

Day 18 - drink

Mommy mimosas at a Barbie Pajama Party...okay!

Day 19 - something you hate {to do}

Now before you all go cursing me.  I love babies!!!!  And I adore this lil one.  However...this is NOT so much of something I hate to do versus, something I hate.  {and I teach Layla NOT to hate, fyi, so I am not a fan of this prompt anyway.}  But I hate that I cannot give Layla the baby sister she so desperately wants.  A stretch?  Yes.  But it is my photo for Day 19, none the less.

Day 20 - handwriting

Yep.  That's how I write.!?!

Day 21 - a fave photo of you

Again, this is not so much of my favorite...(hello humid hair and super slick skin!} but I am doing a play on pics, if you will.  We were at Clay's, and I wanted a pic with the purdy peacock.  So there!

Day 22 - where you work

You have seen it before.  But, here is a different view.  Nice, huh?  Manic much????

p.s. This is getting old, afterall.  Hmpft!  I think I'm done.  Peace out!  22 days is longer than I thought I'd last, so I am pleased.

in case you wanna know what I've been dreaming about...

To dream that you are a hostage indicates that you are feeling victimized or powerless. {a tad.} You feel limited in your choices or physically immobilized. {hi there, neck and back and headaches and jaw pain....} Perhaps this dream is paralleling some situation/difficulties in your daily life or relationship. {yes, perhaps?} Alternatively, to dream that you are a hostage suggests that a part of yourself is not fully expressed.

To dream that you have been robbed indicates that you are experiencing an identity crisis or are suffering from some sort of loss in your life.  Alternatively, the dream means that someone has stolen your success {word!} or has taken credit for something you did.  Perhaps you feel that you have been treated unfairly.  {This last sentence could not be more dead.on.}

To dream that you are crying signifies a release of negative emotions that is more likely caused by some waking situation rather than the events of the dream itself.  {uh, yep...I am not a crier.}  Your dream is a way to regain some emotional balance and to safely let out your fears and frustrations.  In your daily life, you tend to ignore, deny, or repress your feelings.  {how did you get in my head?}  But in your dream state, your defense mechanisms are no longer on guard and thus allow for the release of those feelings that you have repressed during the day.  {well, hello's been a minute.}

To dream that you are shaking suggests that you are getting rid of your old habits and former ways of thinking.  {sure hope you are right on this one.}  You need to get rid of the old in order to welcome in the new and better.  Alternatively, shaking is symbolic of fear.  {booo!}

To dream that you are scared indicates that you are experiencing feelings of self-doubt, incompetence, and lack of control in your waking life.  {'tis true.}  Perhaps you are having second thoughts about a decision you have made. Anger often masquerades as fear, so also consider issues about which you are angry about in your waking life.  {hehehe, um, no, thank you.}

To see a baby in your dream signifies innocence, warmth and new beginnings.  {well this is a new concept!?  I'll take it.}  Babies symbolize something in your own inner nature that is pure, vulnerable, helpless and/or uncorrupted.  {moi!?}  If you dream that you forgot you had a baby, then it suggests that you are trying hide your own vulnerabilities. You do not want to let others know of your weaknesses.  {okay.  I am putting a no trespassing sign in my brain...stay out!}

*Cruise Ship:
To dream that you are on a cruise represents some emotional journey that you are going through.  {I think we have visited this before, no?}  To see a ship in your dream denotes that you are exploring aspects of your emotions and unconscious.

To dream that you are sailing the high seas in a ship denotes that you are still standing tall despite the emotional turmoil occurring in your life.  {That's right....just try and break me, b*tch!  You keep trying.  I keep fighting.}

To dream that you abandon ship indicates that you need to move on and let go.  {hello 'let it go' this the time?}  Your emotion may be holding you back.

To dream that you are in a market represents some emotional or physical need that you are currently lacking in your life. You may be in need of nurturance and some fulfillment.  {word!}

Tell me....what have you been dreaming of?!?

for me...and for she

She can deal with stress and carry heavy burdens.

She smiles when she feels like screaming,

and she sings when she feels like crying.

She cries when she's happy

and laughs when she's afraid.

Her love is unconditional.

There's only one thing wrong with her.

She forgets what she's worth!

My very favorite blog {tumblr} ever to exist on this planet.  It provides me with inspiration that is incomparable.  For that, I thank you, Natalia.
