about the oatmeal

So.  Let me explain a little about my One Word Wednesday post this week. 

I made some oatmeal.  In the microwave....shame, shame....for the lil one over the weekend.  When it came out of the microwave, it kinda resembled a cinnamon heart in the middle...

I was so tickled...I served Layla and then went upstairs to do a meaningful post on love...I was just about to open up to all of you.  And be honest with myself.  Put it down on "paper," if you will. 

I guess I shouldn't have ignored those, "I'm done, mommy!" requests to come and remove her from her seat.  Because THIS is what I returned to...

Now I'm mad...stop taking pictures, mommy!

Layla + unwanted oatmeal = skin treatment.

Life is always fun and unexpected with an almost three year old.  Just gotta roll with the punches...and attend to your lil one when they say they are done!  Lesson learned.
