Remembering My Juny

Today is a tough day for me.  I lost a very dear childhood friend one year ago today.

He is the sweet face right there....with his girlfriend, another childhood friend of mine.

I ask you all to pray for his family and friends while we are still grieving over this devastating loss.  Pray that the heartless cowards that took his life are caught.  And that they receive due justice, here on Earth, and in front of our Savior.  Although, I don't think they will get to meet Him.  But, that is not my call to make.

I pray that we can find Peace in our hearts.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

To live in hearts we leave behind
Is not to die.
~Thomas Campbell
Tears are God’s gift to us.  Our holy water.  They heal us as they flow.

I'm so sorry Meli! I can't imagine how difficult it is to lose a childhood friend. Those are the best types of friends, in my opinion, because they grew up with you and have been with you through every stage of life. I will pray for you and his family that you may find comfort and peace!
