Dear Lisa, my Bumpkin, our Bumpkin

I said I was on hiatus from this old blog of mine. 

Yet, I found myself creating a post earlier.  It was titled "but ima be okay."  Because I know I will be. 

It is raining hard in my world.  Not literally, but figuratively. 

But, after I posted that, I came to find out that a very dear, sweet, loving blog friend of mine passed away and transitioned to heaven. 

So now it is pouring in my world.  Literally and figuratively.  The tears are endless. 

Lisa, better known as The Bumpkin On A Swing, was so very endearing from her first comment after finding this little, boring blog of mine.  We had a connection and I am so sad not to have truly known the wonderful woman behind the computer screen.

You will continue to live in my heart, Lisa.  Always and Forever, sugah.

Lisa shared with me that "Sugah" was the endearing name that her grandma called her frequently.  When you are from the South, like the both of us, sugah = sugar.  And that is every bit of what Lisa was and will continue to be.  We shared the love of the song, Glitter in the Air, by Pink. 

There you are, sitting in the garden

Clutching my coffee, calling me sugar

You called me sugar

And that is what Lisa will continue to be in my world.  Bright sparkles in the air!
