I've got a major, cougar lil girl crush!  Yes I do.  *giggles*

His name is Phillip.  Phillip Phillips.  *giggles*  Isn't he handsome?!?

Yeah, he just does it for me, in a very Rob Thomas kind of way.  Even with his funny faces and the non-stop moving feet of his!

Plus, he made it to the Top 2 of American Idol.  {yes, I still watch.}  I'm jazzed.  *jazz hands*

For him?  I'd be a cougar!!!  Yes I would!  *big smile*

Tag A lot Thursday

There is an awesome art gallery/shop in Houston, right off of Shepherd and Washington, Alva Graphics, that has the most fabulous street art graffiti walls.  It is near my work and we pass it everyday, Monday through Friday.  Well the other day I decided it was high time to go snap some pics of the graffiti art before it gets covered up again with a new set.

That is kinda what they do, I think.  I have seen the outside store walls designed three or four different ways over the last year or so.  And the current art is fabulous and I couldn't let it get away.  I heart graffiti art so so much...not gang tagging, but actual street art, like you are about to see. 

Apperantly, the owners of the fine art collection store had a graffiti show and demo and people came out and watched the art go up...cool!  Wish I would have known.

OH!  And I also have to say the So You Think You Can Dance (aka SYTYCD) episode last night...07.20.11...was my favorite all time episode EVER!!!!  Ever.  And this is like Season EIGHT...and I have been watching since the be.gin.ning!!!!  It was magical, mind blowing, breath taking and I refuse to erase it from my DVR because I will be watching and re-watching it over and over again.  Simply marvelous. 

If you have never tuned in....I highly suggest you do.  And if you have for some reason tuned out...I highly suggest you tune back in.  Stat.

Go Texan Day

The Houston Rodeo Kick-Off is in full gear!!!!  We are so excited....we love LOVE love Rodeo Houston time.  So, today, Friday, is Go Texan Day - where everyone....well, all the fun people - dress up western.  {Nope, sorry MOST of us wear regular clothes every other day just like the rest of you....no boots and horse rides into work, like some people still believe!}

I've got my get-up on!  Of course, sassy britches does too.  But, I really wish I had MY boots I ordered last night....

But, HEY!  At least they will arrive before I go to the Rodeo, and more importantly - before I depart for my New Mexico vacation NEXT week!!!!!

Hey guys!  I am still here....are ya'll still hangin' around to see what boring things I shall blog about today?!?

I actually have a super fun weekend in store for MOI!  Yes, me!  Not for Layla.  Well, she actually does too.  But, today I am FOCUSING on ME!!!!!!  **wink**

And that does not happen often around these here parts.  Sounds totally Texan, no? 

Anywho.  We have lots of celebrations going on this weekend.  My niece, Miss Addison Mae, will be celebrating her 1st birthday!!!! 

With a monkey party, no less....really looking forward to seeing what she does with the cake!!!  I love 1st birthdays....so fun!

She got a little overwhelmed with everyone staring at her when it came time to open presents.  Bless her sweet lil heart!  She still doesn't care for too much attention.  Which is funny....because she gets it HARD when we are out and about....everybody loves that RED hair!!! 

Ugh!  Would you just look at the rolls on those legs????  I just wanna grab em.  'Cuz they aren't there anymore.  Not even a lasting crease....so sad.  **sniffles**  Up until a few months ago, she still had a crease in her leg where that big first roll started.  Not anymore.  She has firm lil gymnasts legs now.  Growing up...it happens fast!

Sorry, I got sidetracked.  FOCUS!  Right?  Ha.

So, yep!  Fun times this weekend.  After we attend Addison's party in Victoria, we will head back to San Antonio, where Layla is spending the night with my parents and her cousins, Paige and Ethan!  She is so excited....and so is momma!  'Cuz I am going to tear up the town!!!!!!!!!!!!

With a lot of those types of drinks...for my friend's surprise birthday party!  He is coming in from Georgia, to San Antonio, and we are going to surprise him for his b-day!!!  I am so excited to do so....I have not seen this guy in like, I don't know???  10 YEARS!!!!!  Seriously.  I really am that old.  **wink**

We are beginning the evening at CoCo Lounge, which looks really cool and laid back. 

So, yeah!  That is what it is.  For this weekend.  So, I am off for now....hope you all have a fantabulous weekend!!!  And I hope I have the same.
