Happy Monday to ya!!!  We are at home sick today.  Not actually me, {good} but {unfortunately} Layla.  And when she is sick, we are sick. 

And my bruises and my wounds still hurt on my legs from last weekend.  Remember my last Manic Monday post?!?  Yeah.  My current Manic Monday post seemed appropriate. 

I have the deep bone bruises on my shins.  Those are the worst.  Hopefully they will heal up this week.  At least I am gonna hope so!  I doubt it, but...

Sunday, no fun day!

Baby girl has come down with something!!!  She's sick.  All of the sudden she woke up coughing on Saturday morning and it has been just down and yucky all weekend.

My Layla has been enjoying this song too recently, and I have too.  I find myself singing it throughout the day and then wishing I had a bicycle built for two to take part in a lovely morning, or evening ride!  Ahhhh the power of day dreaming!

Trish, at the Pink Preppy Lilly Lover blog, posted this yesterday and I just had to engage on the fun of it all!  I hope you will too.

The Paper Source provided this color chart as a personality test.  So basically this means that the colors you find most appealing or are most attracted to will match your personality traits.  Interesting, huh?  I always like these kinds of things.

This test is pretty ON IT, if I do say so myself!!!  These are hitting the nail on the head.  It is easy for me to empathize and sympathize with so many.

I was seriously drawn to each one of these colors.  I love color, in general, so that is why so many appealed to me!  And I am surprised at how well they do fit my personality traits!!!

Our weekend in pictures....and some words!

We had a fabulous start to our weekend last week when my younger sister showed up in Houston with her fam!  We left work early and headed to the hotel to partake in a lil swimming...

All the while my brother in law was laughing at me and asking my sister, "what is she taking a picture of now?"  It was the moon, in case you are wondering.  Ha!  Hey - I fell in love.  And it went deep.  Photography, that is.

And for this lil munchkin, my niece, Addie Mae!  She is so stinking cute and fun.  Just a joy to be around!!!   But, we have a problem people.  She is a lil too much like her momma and daddy....as she reaches for a beer can any chance she gets!!!  Exhibit A.  BUSTED!!! 

She looks proud though.  Ha!  Sweetness.

Then Saturday Layla hooked up with an old pal....Richard turned 4 and we went to the splash park to help him celebrate!

Are they not the cutest thing evah!?!  This looks like it belongs on a magazine cover.  Dontcha think?!?

It may be the start of something good...but not if HE {below} has anything to say about it!

Truth be told, I would be fine with either of those boys.  They are sweet boys.  Good manners. 

Oh that's riiiight.....they are 4!  Don't have to worry about all that for a few.more.years!

Quotography - Happiness

One of my favorite link ups to participate in is the Quotography that Nicolasa does on Mondays and Tuesdays.  I mean, photography and quotes...that is so my thing!  So, yeah I always look forward to joining in on the fun!  You should join too. 


 

This week there is not a "theme" attached to the Quotography.  And I am actually stepping away from my normal, adding an actual quote to one of my photographs....and just showing one of my snap shots that happens to have a quote on it!  Perfection....and oh so true.
