I see a pattern to all of this...and I don't like it!
Ever since America's birthday in early July, I have been running behind on birthday posts on actual birth dates! Booo!!!!
Up next is my good friend, Caroline, and her precious twinsies!!!
Last year Caroline was laying in a hospital bed when she turned 30 years old. Instead of celebrating the end of her second decade of life in fine fashion - she opted to have her little boy and little girl instead! (Well, maybe she didn't have so much to do with it...) But, they arrived on her birthday, none the less!
Happy 1st birthday to James and Lauren! And Happy 31st birthday to Caroline!
I am sorry we were unable to attend the glorious one year celebration with you over the weekend. You were in our thoughts and we look forward to many more celebrations together.

Life's a real Beach!
I am at a loss.
I cannot figure out how to find my lost comment box. If I try to apply a new template, I will lose my widgets. i.e. My Guilty Pleasures, and that is not an option!
So, I am at a loss. And Life's a real beach, sometimes. Is it not? This is a continuation from my Life's a Beach Post...because Layla had her very 1st encounter with a beach on Saturday, August 22nd. And she loved it. I do believe her most favorite thing was digging in the sand. She loved the waves and surf too, but inevitably, she was right back where she started...at the shoreline, digging in the sand.
We are scheduled to go back to the beach this weekend for Labor Day. But, we really need to do a garage sale! Only time will tell what really goes down...
Until then, please enjoy some highlights of Layla's 1st Beach Visit!
Here are Layla and Addison, greeting eachother as we arrived....how cute are they??? Bear hugs are the best, and these two little girls know that all too well. Sweetie pies...
Playing on the shoreline...
Jumping over the waves...and playing with her shadow!
Oh dear! I think I have sand in my mouth...
Doing her own thing...
Help, mom! This sand won't come off of my hand...
Mommy and Layla sunbathing and playing around!
Not a care in the world......for this moment!
The day is almost done...
And soon you will look like this...
But, before we go...these two turned the beach into a nude one, no doubt!
They loved it! But, not as much as the passerbys....they were rolling full of laughter!
At the sight of these two coppertones...

Vacation Friday - San Antonio
So this Vacation Friday post is later than usual, but it is Friday night, none the less.
I am having so many technical difficulties with my comment box, I am going insane trying to fix it! I suppose I should just hire someone at this point...sigh.
In stead of getting really exotic or far, far away, I am going to highlight my hometown of San Antonio, Texas today! I am going to give you my highlights and recomendations to show you about town, but to learn more of what this historic city has to offer, visit here!
I would suggest staying in the gorgeous, romantic La Mansion Del Rio, right off of the famous San Antonio River Walk...

The Riverwalk is a must - I adore it. It is a great atmosphere!
My favorite is during Christmas Time and the Parade of Lights!!! Gorgeous...

Happy (belated) birthday, Kimmy!
Yesterday was my little sisters birthday! No, I did NOT forget. Most certainly not!
I texted her in the morning. We sang Happy Birthday to her yesterday afternoon.
But, with my comment box M.I.A. - I forgot to blog about her b-day yesterday. I feel like a bad sister. Even though I am sooooo far from that!
With that said, Happy 28th Birthday Kimberly! You will make a fantastic mommy.

Official Start to Vacation Friday
As I stated last Friday when we visited Greece...I am going to start a weekly Vacation Friday posting! This way I can *visit* these far away places without spending a dime...
Today we are jetting off to...a place I have always dreamed about...Jamaica, mon!
Situated in the middle of the Caribbean Sea, Jamaica is south of Cuba and west of Haiti. A small island, only 145 miles long and 50 miles wide. Surrounded by beautiful blue crystal water!
See those two chairs...those are for us!
And no worries, mon! If it gets too hot, I have reserved this little cabana for us just in case!
I don't know about you, but I wanna go see the land! Experience the culture. Of course, we have to do some local shopping! And eat some jerk chicken, no doubt! Now, I am tuckered out...shall we turn in for the evening?!? Follow me to our home away from home! It is just a short drive up the beach...here we are!
Let's take a ride in the glass bottom boats and see amazing sea life! But, I do believe my most favorite part of Jamaica would be doing this...
