my life. and blinks of it.

I have always found blinks.of.life to be a blog that I can simply "fall into."  If that makes any sense at all.  It's like she feels what I feel and can produce the thoughts...put them to paper...in such eloquent words.  When, I, am simply lost. 

I love one of her recent posts....so I thought I would partake.

I was…breaking.  And then realized that I just don't have time to do that.  Big girl panties back ON!



I am…stronger than I give myself credit for.  And I am allowed to break at times. 


I think…that life is not fair.  But, it won't stop on account of my thought. 


I wonder…what a stress free life would really feel like!?


I wish…for great health for me, my family and my friends.  Riches would be nice, but not at all as important. 


I save…it all!  I hold it together for as long as I can and then BAM!  I save all the emotional breakdown shit for about once a year.  It just happened.  So I should be good for awhile.


I always…hope for a better day!


I can’t imagine…my life without those who help pick me while I am down.  You know who you are, and I thank you.


I believe…the children are our future!  Teach them well and let them lead the way.  ha!  No, but seriously...kinda. 


I promise…to love more.  Practice patience and be kind.

I've snapped some random pics this month.  {I know, what's new?!}  But I am gonna share some with you.

This is an old vacant cement factory with cool grafitti throughout...I'd love to capture a family photo shoot here.  With the right kind of family.

Seriously!?  Who wants to take a ride in the Banana-Mobile?  I know naners would!!!  Seriously awesome.  We could "peel" out!  Ha.

This is my friend, Tara, and her boisterous daughter, Tyler.  I love how she is planting one on her momma!!!  Makes my heart swell.

The purple {Dina's favorite color} balloon we released for Richard's mother, Grandma Dina on Mother's Day.  Rest in Peace, we miss you endlessly.  Your presence is missed more than words could express.  But you live on.  Layla talks about you, like she knew you.  But you know this....

And you know I can't get a post in without sneaking in one of my Boo-Bear!  I just love her lop-sided braided buns in this.  This is love, my friends.  THIS is love...

Addison's 5th "Candy"-licious B-Day Par-Tay!!!!

Layla's BFF, Addison, turned 5 a few weeks ago!!  {Um, blow me away with a feather!!!  eeek!!!} 

But this past weekend it was celebrated with a super sweet CANDY-licious birthday party at The Bake Shoppe and Cafe in Cypress, Texas.  This place was soooo uber vintage chic and fun.  I could go on and on...but I will let the party and the decor speak for itself.  I was in HEAVEN!!!!  And so were the kids. 

I mean LOOK AT THAT CAKE!?!  I think I know where I am ordering Layla's!!!

Seriously...that cake!!!  It was yummmmm-meeee!!!!
