Is what we had. A fun weekend, indeed.
Mimi and Popo (my parents and their grandparent given names) came in town for a family friends wedding. Actually, it is an old college buddy of my sister, Kim.
So, that meant we had a Friday full of Mimi and Popo! Yay! Actually, just an evening, as they didn't arrive until after 5 pm...but, we still had fun.
And Saturday was filled with "peak-tures with Jen!" (As Layla would say!)
We toodled around the River Oaks area with Jen in order to capture some great 2nd birthday picture moments! This is one of my favorites from last year....

I know Jen snapped some great photos, so stay tuned for the new 2nd year pictures! *Side note - Jen's computer crashed, so it may be a few days.*
We intended on beginning the shoot at The Aquarium, but there was too much excitement going on there, so we started at Lamar High School instead...
You may be asking why???? Jen found something endearing about their teal green doors. And they did make a statement in the background of her pictures!

And then we drove down the street and got hooked up with one of these red beauties!!! Actually, our red phone booth didn't look that pretty, but it still provided the feel we were looking for....and provided a lot of fun too!

Truth is, Jen is fabulous at what she does! And she deserves ice dream everyday!!! At least, as far as I am concerned...
Thanks again Jen, for many wonderful treats!!!!! You are a great friend. And Layla adores you.
