Everytime I am feeling glum and yearn for a lil more shine in my life.....I just have to think of my baby!  Layla, you are MY sunshine!  And when I sing this song, I think of YOU!  And I immediately smile.  Thank you for that, baby girl.  I don't know if you will ever understand how important you are to me...I love you.

Day 15 - phone

This series is pretty intriguing.  Hard to follow at times, but very interesting....

Day 16 - something new

A new Barbie!!!!  Among many other things from our sweet Summer and Kelcee.  Tons of clothes and a really cute fairy costume.  Layla was in heaven.  Thank you ladies.  You rock!

Now before you all go cursing me.  I love babies!!!!  And I adore this lil one.  However...this is NOT so much of something I hate to do versus, something I hate.  {and I teach Layla NOT to hate, fyi, so I am not a fan of this prompt anyway.}  But I hate that I cannot give Layla the baby sister she so desperately wants.  A stretch?  Yes.  But it is my photo for Day 19, none the less.

Day 21 - a fave photo of you

Again, this is not so much of my favorite...(hello humid hair and super slick skin!} but I am doing a play on pics, if you will.  We were at Clay's, and I wanted a pic with the purdy peacock.  So there!

You have seen it before.  But, here is a different view.  Nice, huh?  Manic much????

Day 11 - makes you happy

The fact that my baby girl can go from acting like a lil debutante at a costume ball birthday party....to a rocking super hero birthday party....all in the same day!  Yep, she basically rocks hard core, in case you didn't know.

Day 12 - inside your closet

These are the two items I needed out of my closet this day.  It was pouring.....and oh so blissful! 

Day 13 - blue

I LOVE getting mail with that blue sticker on them!!!  This one came on the 13th from my dearly beloved, Miss GiGi.  Thanks, hon.  A very sweet package for my burfday.  Yes, it was in December...but it's cool.  We {both} roll like that!  Love you girlfriend!

Hi!  I've been busy...but I am still snapping away and impressing myself.

And because I am infatuated with our beautiful Texas skies, I did TWO pictures for Day 8 - sun.  I was also giddy because the skies were clear and not overcast as they were for the past week or so.

I am impressing myself, you guys!  I am holding strong on the February Photo Challenge, and it is Day 7!  Yeah, yeah....some of you are probably like, "big deal!?!"  But this is big for me. 

So I am gonna post Day 6 - dinner and Day 7 - button and then I will get to the yummy cuteness that was Addie Mae's 2nd birthday party on Saturday.  And since tomorrow will be Day 8 - sun....I will pray the overcast sky diminishes in Houston and Mr. Sun comes out to play.  If not, I am sure I will think of something.  You'll understand what I am talking about when you see my next two pictures!  hehehehe.

This pic was not actually snapped at 10 a.m. in the morning....but it is what I was at H.E.B. shopping for at 10 o'clock in the morn.  So it will have to work. 

Some Super Bowl party treats.  Salted Caramel Cupcakes and Spinach and Cheese Appetizer Squares.  Both....deelish!!!!! 

Check in tomorrow for some super sweetness.  Addie Mae's 2nd birthday party themed with Strawberry Shortcake.  Love it!!!!!

I've got a mish mash mush {that's for you summer baby} Friday going on.  I'm still snapping away at the February Photo Challenge.  Yay for me!

As you can see Day 3 is HANDS.  I was trying to think of a sweet way to capture me and Layla holding hands, but then the prime opportunity came to me last night while watching American Idol.

Thank you Layla baby...you never let me down.  I am a two finger kinda Cheetoe eater.  The thumb and the index.  Layla is obviously...a go all in....hand Cheetoe eater.  I guess whatever works.  To each, their own.

Now if I can only remember to capture a stranger on Saturday and 10 am on Sunday, I think I will be on a roll.

As some of you might know, I am a huge graffiti lover.  While driving to work in the dreary, rainy Houston weather this morning, I immediately got a huge smile on my face when I saw that Coolidge had struck again!  Yesssss....
