Quotography - Sunshine

My "baby" girl is graduating Pre-K today.  And this quote seemed quite fitting. 

 This is her this morning...proud and anxious!  And loving her "straight" hair. 

Update to follow.  Cap and gown, the whole nine yards!  Momma and Daddy are proud.

Quotography - Happiness

I am completely bending the rules today by picking two photos, but I just can't help it!!!!  And you will soon understand why.

A.  She makes my heart melt! 

And B.  I couldn't help but use this photo again today!!! 

We are welcoming Nicolasa back from a small hiatus and I am so happy she is gracing us with her presence once again.  I have missed her and I truly wish her all the happiness!  I would say that the world has to offer...but we all know happiness starts with ourselves.  Cheers!

My "phrase" for the year....really my life, that I have adopted is:

So I am working that into this weeks Quotography theme of water. 

These are some of the pics I snapped when we were at the beach with Layla's cousins a few weeks back. 

This next one, of Jaliana jumping over the wave, is probably my favorite capture of the day.

And in lieu of showing you each individual sweet lil kiddo, I am opting for a family pic.  Because I could be here uploading pics all.day.long!  I kid.  Kinda.  There are SEVEN of them, afterall.

Now I gotta get the PAIL outta here.  Ha!

When I saw this quote, I just KNEW I had to use it for this weeks Quotography prompt:  RED!

And I found the perfect picture to go with it. 

It looks like Layla is thinking, "Just what can I do next!?!?!"  Love it.

To end this week on a brighter note...I turn to Layla. 

My shining star when the world is dim.  My beacon of hope when all seems lost.  My sweetness when all seems sour. 

If you have been reading here for a while, then you know the connection that my Layla bug has with Lady Bugs.  If not, and you so wish, you can read about some of it here. 

Basically, girlfriend finds one everywhere she goes!  Seriously.  One even landed on her head in the middle of a swimming pool this past summer.  It's awesome. 

So of course while we were putting up her trampoline and swing set she got for Christmas this past weekend, she found one in our backyard.  But of course!
