Salute to AMERICA!!!

July 4th is a day the United States celebrates the country’s adoption of the Declaration of Independence on July 4th, 1776. On this day, the colonies declared their independence from Great Britian.

In 1778, George Washington celebrated the Fourth of July by giving his soldiers a double ration of rum and a salute via artillery.

Famous signers of the Declaration of Independence include John Hancock, Thomas Jefferson, Benjamin Harrison, Samuel Adams, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin, and John Penn.

Because of this piece of history, we are able to enjoy this day in such a way....enjoy and Happy July 4th!!!
