Meli Monday - like yesterday, yet a lifetime away....

I planned to do a nice tribute yesterday to mark the 10th anniversary of that fateful day.  09.11.01.  The day, truly, none of us who lived it, will forget.  I believe we can all agree upon that.

I truly REMEMBERED yesterday.  As painful as it is to recall that day.  I did.  But I actually do so often. 

And while I did not personally lose someone close to me "that day", I still consider it a huge personal loss.  So much was taken from us all so quickly.  The images?  Seared in my mind.  I will never have to recall what I saw, felt and lost that day.  It is always with me.  Just a thought a way. 

With that said, for the men and women still serving and protecting our beautiful land....I thank you.  And your loved ones.  For all that you give to each and every one of us.....each and every day....so personally.
