...except my GiGi and my Tiff have played along with me.  I won't give up on it.  Yet.

It is a fun blog hop I decided to start with the hopes of not forgetting our past.  I pick a random year of the past and then you post images or facts or music or trends...all from that year!  Easy enough, right?  I hope you choose to play along tomorrow because we will be celebrating the fabulous year of...1996!

This is the year I graduated high school and since it has not been that long ago I figured maybe, just maybe, some of my young spring chicken bloggers might join in!  Come on guys....don't make me feel so all alone in this.

This post is for my dear friend, Nicole.  She lost her mother unexpectedly over the weekend and my heart is hurting for her.  For myself.  Another reminder....to say what you need to say.  Rest In Peace Mama Cheryl.  I love you.

Remembering My Juny

Today is a tough day for me.  I lost a very dear childhood friend one year ago today. 

He is the sweet face right there....with his girlfriend, another childhood friend of mine.

I ask you all to pray for his family and friends while we are still grieving over this devastating loss.  Pray that the heartless cowards that took his life are caught.  And that they receive due justice, here on Earth, and in front of our Savior.  Although, I don't think they will get to meet Him.  But, that is not my call to make.

I pray that we can find Peace in our hearts.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal.

To live in hearts we leave behind
