Wordless(ish) Wednesday - Bad Ass Birthday Girl Edition


You didn't think I would stop at the carnival birthday photo shoot, did ya?  Oh noooo.....that'd be too simple. 

Now remember kids....this is MY blog.  MY child.  And NO kids were hurt in the making of this photo shoot.  Perhaps I am just a lil demented?  Exhibit A below.

This was not planned.  But I laughed and laughed and laughed when I got home and reviewed these.  So sick!  Yet, satisfying.  Kidding.  No, really I am.  Just liked the colors in the clown!  Hahahaha....

Truth be told, I did not ask her to pose any such way once we arrived at the graffiti walls.  This is her.  Layla in all of her bad-ass-ness.  Er, shall I say, sassiness!?! 


Or, unwillingness?!?  Yes, I do believe that is what we are seeing here!  But, it worked!  It works....at times.  This time being one!

    look at lil' miss sassy frassy?!?! great pics, great color...as usual! Houston has some great murals to play with. When we get back to Tejas you'll have to tell me where these are. We will probably be in H-town at least once a year visiting my sissy and her lil' miss sassy frassy.

    meli this is bad ass! OMG Layla is gorgeous and the pictures OMG u rock it...u should start ur own photog business fo sho...i have the same camera as u and um well my pics don't look like that lol how awesome move closer so u can take pics of my Kelcee lol....thanks for your beautiful comment to me friend it made me cry. i am so sorry i havent been commenting much no excuses...i love ya dearly i hope your foot is ok and healing up...love these pics

    She is so gorgeous, let me count the ways: 1. that hair! Please, I'd pay good money for that hair...actually I have paid good money for that hair but it end up frizzling right off! 2. That hat! So sophisticated yet sassy! 3. That smile, that charm...I'd go so far as to say "Put her in pageants" but since I myself think the pageant moms tend to be of the psycho variety, I won't go there...although I sort of have...but just ignore that part...unless you agree with me, in which case, yeehaw!
