oh, my heart...be still...and Layla's too

{image via}

I just heard from Layla's pediatrician, who basically told me what I already knew from Tuesday's EKG.

Layla is having runs of irregular heart beats.  I could see it on the machine.  I knew what they looked like from my previous cardiolgist visits.

It was determined about 6 years ago that have PVC's.  And now it appears that Layla is having PAC's.  To the tune of 3 in a row each time.

The information I received today is minimal.  I do know that she will have to go to see a cardiac specialist, probably an electrophysiologist.  Her doctor will call me back tomorrow with specifics, specialists, names, and our next steps.

Your continued prayers are most appreciated!
