long live TuPac

15 years gone and his music still moves me the way it did back then.

Tupac Amaru Shakur
June 16, 1971 – September 13, 1996

I heard Brenda's got a baby,
but Brenda's barely got a brain.
A damn shame, the girl can hardly spell her name.

~ Brenda's Got a Baby by TuPac

I can remember hearing "Brenda's got a Baby" back in the day...middle school...and it was profound.  Huge for me.  It opened my eyes to a world, I hadn't yet experienced, but soon would with friends in high school.

Today I remember TuPac.  For the music he left us for eternity.  R.I.P.

  3. Tupac. It wasn't until I in college (college!) that I was introduced to him. His music is so moving and can I say, how beautiful he is...especially his eyes. I would like to believe that if he were still alive today, his music would be unstoppable.

  4. Isn't it crazy? I often wonder how his life would have turned out if he were still with us. I STILL love all his music. It seems the greatest ones are taken all too soon.
